Coming soon—expanded access to care with 3 new medical centers

Over the next few months, Kaiser Permanente is set to open three new medical centers in Maryland and Virginia. The new facilities will further expand access to quality health care and coverage in the Mid-Atlantic region.

West Hyattsville Medical Center

The first of the three facilities to open will be the 48,000 square-foot West Hyattsville Medical Center, set to opens its doors in August 2022. Located at 5620 Ager Road in Hyattsville, Maryland, the new center will provide members with primary, ob-gyn, and pediatric care. Lab, pharmacy, and radiology services will also be available at the state-of-the-art facility. West Hyattsville Medical Center will replace our Prince George’s Medical Center.

Caton Hill Medical Center

The second addition will be Caton Hill Medical Center in September 2022. Designed as a 245,000-square-foot multispecialty hub, the center will offer Advanced Urgent Care, an ambulatory surgery center, and high-end imaging services to members in the southern part of our Virginia service area. Located in Woodbridge at 13285 Minnieville Road, Caton Hill Medical Center will replace our Woodbridge Medical Center.

Springfield Medical Center

The third opening is expected to be the 99,000 square-foot Springfield Medical Center in November 2022. Located at 6551 Loisdale Court, and adjacent to the existing Springfield Medical Center, the new facility will provide primary care and rotating specialty care, with services including dermatology, optometry, and physical therapy. Lab, pharmacy, and radiology services will also be available.
