At Kaiser Permanente, our main goal is to protect our members, their families, and our staff. In order to do this, we have revised our visitor policy at our medical centers and we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines for visiting a Kaiser Permanente medical center.
Updated visitor policy that will go into effect today, Wednesday, January 12:
- We are not permitting visitors to accompany adult members 18 years or older in our facilities (this includes visits with a doctor, nurse, lab, radiology, pharmacy, etc.) unless they meet one of the exceptions listed below*.
- One visitor** is permitted to accompany a pediatric member (patient under 18 years of age).
- For OB/GYN appointments, we are not allowing visitors at this time.
