We’re updating the way you can view estimated costs for care, making it easier to see cost information before certain appointments or services.
After the update, you may be able to view cost estimates through kp.org/MyChart. These estimates are designed to help you better understand what you may pay before you receive care.
What may change
- You may see estimated cost information before certain scheduled services.
- You may see one prepay amount before or during check-in.
- Depending on your health plan, the amount may reflect a copay or an estimated cost share.
- If you have a deductible or coinsurance, the amount may be different from what you are used to seeing at check-in.
Your estimate is not a final bill. The amount you owe may change based on the care you receive, your benefits, and any claims that are processed before your visit.
