Two new Urgent Care locations opening in 2024

We’re pleased to announce that two new Urgent Care locations in Anne Arundel County and Loudoun County are opening next year.

On January 2, 2024, Urgent Care will be open – by appointment only – at the Annapolis and Ashburn Medical Centers.

Our Urgent Care facilities have general radiology (x-ray), lab, and pharmacy services. Urgent Care is appropriate for concerns like:1

  • Flu-like and cold symptoms
  • Lower back pain
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Vomiting, diarrhea, and nausea

Starting on January 2, 2024, members can schedule an appointment for Urgent Care services at Annapolis and Ashburn by calling our 24/7 advice line at 800-777-7904 (TTY 711).

Virtual Urgent Care
In addition to Urgent Care and Advanced Urgent Care, Kaiser Permanente also offers Virtual Urgent Care services. Our Virtual Urgent Care is available 24/7 by video, phone, and email from a Permanente physician trained in emergency medicine.2 Visit kp.org/getcare to get started using the services listed below:

  • Get Care Now—video or phone visit with a physician for urgent care, available 24/7— no appointment needed.
  • E-visit—answer some basic questions and get a doctor’s response, typically within 2 hours.
  • Chat with a Nurse—chat online with our 24/7 advice nurse or discuss medical records.
  • 24/7 advice line—talk with a registered nurse day or night for advice, appointment scheduling, and more. Call us 24/7 at 800-777-7904 (TTY 711).
